At a meeting with the general director of IAEA, Muhammed al-Baradei, President Vladimir Putin noted the professional activity of the agency, which has no political bias.

Mr. Putin said that Russia will continue to support the activity and development of IAEA, which has become a prestigious and powerful organization that fulfills important functions and has enormous authority.

Muhammed al-Baradei said that Russian support has key significance for the agency, including in the development of peaceful atomic energy and the non-proliferation regime.
