The Russian President and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia discussed the progress of realising agreements that were reached at the Russian-Saudi summit in Moscow in September 2003. Both sides noted that joint efforts had created a sound basis for bringing bilateral cooperation to a fundamentally new level. In connection with this, specific steps were discussed on developing trade and economic ties between the two nations.

Mr Putin and Crown Prince Abdullah separately discussed issues of cooperation between Russia and Saudi Arabia in the war on international terrorism.
