Russian companies are interested in entering the Bulgarian market, President Vladimir Putin announced at the end of his talks with Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov.

Russian businessmen plan to participate in the modernization of production and transport infrastructure, and in investment project and programmes, particularly in the fuel and energy sector.

We are also considering the possibility, if the need arises, of increasing supplies of natural gas to Bulgaria and transporting it to neighbouring Balkan countries. In this situation joint co-operation will only make our economies stronger, Vladimir Putin believes.
