Vladimir Putin, Alu Alkhanov and Ramzon Kadyrov visited the cemetery where Akhmat Kadyrov is buried. The late Chechen president was killed in a terrorist attack on May 9 this year. The head of state laid flowers at the grave of Kadyrov, who would have turned 53 on August 23.

After the ceremony, President Putin returned to Sochi accompanied by Alu Alkhanov, the head of the Public Council for Control over the Restoration of the Economy and Social Sphere, and Ramzan Kadyrov, the Chechen Republic’s first deputy prime minister.
