Mr Martin stressed that today Canada, like all the world’s countries, was filled with sympathy for the Russian people in connection with the brutal consequences of the inhuman act committed by international terrorism in Russia. He expressed his full understanding of all the tough measures planned by the Russian leadership to fight this evil, and praised the courage shown by the Russian people in the minutes of danger.
Mr Putin thanked Mr Martin for his sympathy with the Russian people.
