The British Prime Minister expressed his sincere condolences, and asked the Russian President to pass on his profound condolences to all the victims of the act of international terrorism in Beslan.
Mr Putin thanked Mr Blair for his words of solidarity. Both sides noted the necessity of increasing efforts in coordinated opposition to the threat of terrorism by the international community.
