Leonid Kuchma, as the Chairman of the Council of the CIS Heads of Nations, informed Mr. Putin that an agenda had been set for the upcoming CIS summit in Astana. At the meeting, among other things, special attention will be given to issues of security and anti-terrorist cooperation in the light of the increase in international terrorism.
The conversation was held on the initiative of the Ukrainian side.
