”Today, Russia and Germany are linked by relations of strategic partnership and genuine good-neighbourliness. Russian-German political dialogue is actively increasing, and multilateral business, cultural and humanitarian ties are developing successfully. Our countries are united by a common vision of important global processes, the desire to jointly oppose new challenges and threats, and find optimal solutions to key problems of the present day.

In conditions when the international community faces monstrous acts of international terrorism, we see Germany as a reliable ally in the war on this evil, which like Russia is in favour of increasing efforts to strengthen security in Europe and in the world as a whole.

I am certain that fruitful dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries in various areas will continue to develop dynamically for the good of the peoples of Russia and Germany.“
