Dmitry Medvedev and Silvio Berlusconi exchanged views on topical issues concerning preparations for the April summit of the G20 in London. Both sides emphasised the importance of intensifying close coordination to develop coordinated policy approaches and specific recommendations for the upcoming summit.

The President of Russia informed the Prime Minister of Italy that Russia's proposals concerning the agenda of the forthcoming summit will soon be transferred to the Italian party.

Dmitry Medvedev and Silvio Berlusconi also discussed the plans for bilateral contacts in the near future.
