At a meeting with members of Government, Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandr Zhukov informed President Vladimir Putin that the Government had passed a decree for the development of Beslan.

Over the course of two years, it is proposed to build two comprehensive schools, a kindergarten art school and a kindergarten nursery. A multipurpose regional medical center, and also three residential buildings will be built. Two of them will be for citizens who suffered in the terrorist attack on Beslan. Another building will be built for employees in the education and welfare systems.

Mr Putin stressed the importance of smooth financing of construction, and good organisation of work.
