Mr Putin once again congratulated Mr Erdogan, his family and the entire Turkish people on the New Year and wished them all the very best.
The President expressed his thanks for the warm reception he received during his official visit to Turkey in December 2004 and also passed on his best wishes to Turkish President Ahmet Sezer.
Mr Putin noted that Mr Erdogan’s visit to Russia will be busy and useful.
