President Vladimir Putin met with leaders of the State Duma factions

The meeting discussed legislative issues, the country’s development priorities and implementation of the law replacing benefits with cash payments. Opening the meeting, Mr Putin noted that the law replacing benefits with cash payments could have been implemented without problems that people have encountered.

Present at the meeting were Chairman of the State Duma and leader of the United Russia Duma faction Boris Gryzlov, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Vladimir Zhirinovsky, Communist Party Duma faction leader Gennady Zyuganov, Rodina Duma faction leader Dmitry Rogozin and Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Vladislav Surkov.
