The heads of the Finance Ministry and the Ministry of Health and Social Development, Aleksei Kudrin and Mikhail Zurabov, informed the President about this.
From 1 March, there will be an increase in basic old-age pensions, pensions for military pensioners, scholarships, and also money allowances for soldiers on service for a fixed period and for first- and second-year cadets of military colleges.
The ministers informed the President that there were sufficient funds in the budget to increase all these payments. To ensure that these payments are made in full in the near future, according amendments are being made to the budget inventory.
