On the eve of an official visit to Slovakia, Vladimir Putin gave an interview to the Slovakian media — Radio Slovensko and the STV television channel

During the interview, the President answered questions about Russian-Slovakian relations and their prospects.

On the eve of the Russian-American summit in Bratislava, a large part of the interview was devoted to the topic of cooperation with the U.S. in the sphere of security, fighting terrorism, and Russian-American cooperation in general.

Other topics of the interview were the relations between Russia and NATO, cooperation with CIS countries, and the situation with the problems of Iraq, Iran and North Korea.

The Russian President also discussed issues of peaceful regulation in Chechnya.
