The ceremony was attended by Head of the Presidential Executive Office Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov, other members of cabinet, leaders of parliamentary groups, prominent military leaders, and veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Presidential orchestra played the Russian national anthem, and then the guard of honour of the Presidential regiment marched past the Eternal Flame.
