The two Presidents shared their views on the talks that had just taken place and informed journalists on the concrete results obtained.
Mr Putin and Mr Yushchenko agreed to give their governments specific instructions on demarcating the Russian-Ukrainian border, on the Black Sea Fleet, accession to the World Trade Organisation and settling the Trans-Dniester conflict. The two leaders also agreed to adopt two updated programmes for economic cooperation and cooperation between regions and border areas.
