Economic figures of the country’s development in January-February 2005 were discussed, along with safety issues in air transport, the results of the President’s visits to Paris and Kiev, and work in the framework of the Common Economic Space.

The President charged the Government with preparing documents planned for May 2005 Russia-European Union summit on forming four “common spaces”. He charged the economic bloc with re-examination of issues related to reductioning restrictions in the trade with Ukraine, and the Ministry of Trade and Economic Development with paying closer attention to inflation rates in the country.
