Mr Putin invited the actor to the Kremlin to personally express his admiration and presented him with a bouquet of roses and an ornamental box with a miniature of St. George.

Mr Zhzhyonov also presented the President with a gift – a book of his stories.

Earlier, Mr Putin sent Mr Zhzhyonov a message of congratulations in which he said he feels great respect for the actor’s responsible position as a citizen and knows him also as a wonderful writer and prominent public figure.
