The telegram reads, in part:

“I was deeply saddened to hear that Indonesia has once again been hit by a natural disaster that has caused many victims. On behalf of all Russians I express sincere sympathy for the families and loved ones of those who have lost their lives and I ask you to convey my support and concern for the victims.

As before, Russia is ready, if necessary, to provide assistance to Indonesia in overcoming the consequences of this natural disaster.“
