At a meeting with members of Government, Vladimir Putin said that such measures as integrating the Krasnoyarsk Krai, Taimyr and Evenkiya into one Federation Region are only justified if they help to solve primarily social, financial and economic tasks.

The President called for the Government to pay attention to such initiatives, and to accompany and support justified decisions of this kind.

Integration is not an end in itself, and the most important thing is to improve people’s lives, the President stressed.
