The message of greetings reads, in particular:

“Today, the action ‘Echelons of Victory’ is setting out along the road from Brest to Moscow, a legendary road clothed in military glory. The action’s participants will pass through places associated with one of the brightest pages in our history – the triumphal return of our heroes and liberators to their homeland.

I am genuinely pleased that the participants include illustrious Great Patriotic War veterans, courageous people, strong of spirit, who defended our Motherland and saved the world from Nazi enslavement.

I am sure that your action will have broad public resonance and will serve the cause of helping to educate our young people in a patriotic spirit.”
