During the reception, Vladimir Putin awarded the memorial anniversary medal “60 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War” to the Presidents of a number of countries, and also to the ex-Presidents of Poland and Cyprus, and the former King of Romania.
The memorial medal was awarded to Albanian President Alfred Moisiu, Greek President Karlos Papulias, Croatian President Stipe Mesic, former Polish President and army general Wojciech Jaruzelski, former President of Cyprus Glavkos Kliridis, and former King of Romania Michael I.
