The two Presidents discussed national-level cooperation issues between Russia and Kazakhstan.

Mr Putin said he had instructed the Russian Foreign Ministry to prepare a document that would enable Russian and Kazakh citizens to travel between the two countries on their internal identity documents.

The President also noted the importance of the meeting on cross-border cooperation between the two countries’ regions scheduled to take place later in the day.
