President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with U.S. President George W. Bush

June 15, 2005

The two Presidents discussed progress made on implementing the agreements reached during Mr Bush’s visit to Moscow on May 8–9 this year.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamic of bilateral contacts at all levels that facilitate coordination of the two countries’ positions, including in the run up to the G8 summit in Gleneagles and the United Nations General Assembly’s jubilee session.

Mr Putin and Mr Bush also exchanged views on some of the issues that will be on the agenda of these two important international meetings.
