I congratulate you on the 10th anniversary of your election as Pandito khambo lama – the head of the Buddhist traditional Sangha of Russia.

For more than two centuries, Buddhist religious figures who have occupied the post have served to preserve the spiritual values and assert high moral ideals, and fruitful dialogue of cultures and civilisations.

Today you carry on and increase these long-standing traditions, helping to consolidate civil society, harmony and understanding between peoples, interaction between the state and religious organisations in solving important social tasks.

I wish you and all the Buddhists of Russia happiness, success and prosperity.”
