Following their talks, President Vladimir Putin and Mexican President Vicente Fox adopted a joint declaration reflecting both countries’ political will to make all-round efforts to strengthen their bilateral cooperation, including in the light of Russia’s forthcoming accession to the World Trade Organisation.

Mr Putin expressed his satisfaction with the successful conclusion of talks and the signature of the corresponding protocol between Russia and Mexico on conditions for Russia’s accession to the World Trade Organisation.

The President thanked Mr Fox for his constructive approach to this complex and important issue.
