Issues of cooperation in the energy, aerospace and automobile industries were discussed.

The Russian President said that Russia would be ready for full currency liberalisation by 2007 and is preparing new steps to create more convenient conditions for business.

Vladimir Putin also announced the intention of continuing talks on pre-schedule payment of the Russian foreign debt, and said he hoped that German business would give its support at talks on Russia’s entry into the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
