The Federal Law is for the ratification of the Protocol on the Privileges and Immunity of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organisation’s Parliamentary Assembly, signed in Baku on October 31, 2003.
The Protocol is the legal foundation ensuring the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Parliamentary Assembly’s functioning in accordance with the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organisation’s aims and principles.
The law was passed by the State Duma on June 17, 2005 and approved by the Federation Council on June 22, 2005.
