In accordance with the decree, in order to provide additional guarantees for the protection of the rights, freedoms and lawful interests of persons suspected or accused of committing crimes, taking into account the recommendations of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and until the corresponding federal law is passed, the federal security service organs’ remand prisons will be transferred, according to the set procedures, to the criminal justice system.
