President Vladimir Putin and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed a broad range of Russian-Turkish cooperation issues during their two days of talks

The talks focused on increasing mutual investment, developing trade and economic ties and expanding cooperation in the energy sector.

Russia is ready not just to increase energy supplies to Turkey but also to take part in developing Turkey’s gas transport infrastructure, Mr Putin said following the talks.

Mr Putin and Mr Erdogan also discussed strengthening regional security and settling international conflicts, including the Cyprus problem.
