Aleksandr Zhukov informed the President about the Government’s work on issues of immigration, demography and attracting labour resources.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, these problems go outside of the immigration service authority. In solving these problems, economic aspects are affected, as are issues of maternity and childhood, and socio-cultural adaptation.

In connection with this, Mr Zhukov suggested creating a state commission which would deal with the entire series of issues connected with immigration and demographic policy.
