As a result of meeting with President of Finland Tarja Halonen Vladimir Putin stressed the high standard of political and economical cooperation between the two countries.
Additional potential for developing bilateral relations lies in the area of investments. There are also good prospects for co-operation in traditional, as well as high technology fields.
The President noted that the fact that Russia has adopted new legislation, in particular in support of the high-tech industry, provides partners from Finland with additional opportunities for increasing their activity on the Russian market.
