Different aspects of the forthcoming session of the Council of Heads of State of CIS member countries, to be held in Kazan at the end of August, were discussed. The Commonwealth leaders' participation in the 1000th anniversary of the capital of Tatarstan was also discussed.
Opinions were exchanged on a number of pressing questions relating to Russian-Ukrainian cooperation.
The conversation was held on the initiative of the Ukrainian side.
