The two leaders exchanged views on the results of the fourth round of talks on settling the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula that ended recently in Beijing. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the significant agreements reached – agreements that mark an important step forward in work on settling this issue.
The two Presidents also discussed issues regarding preparations for the upcoming APEC summit in Pusan (Republic of Korea) in November, and the forthcoming Russian-South Korean summit.
The conversation took place at South Korea’s initiative.
