Vladimir Putin sent a telegram of condolences to the King of Jordan, Abdullah II, in connection with the terrorist attacks in the Jordanian capital

November 10, 2005

The telegram reads:

“I was shoked by news of the terrorist attacks in the Jordanian capital that claimed many innocent victims.

We resolutely condemn this brutal crime designed to undermine safety and prosperity in your country and stability in the whole region. This bloody act of terrorism in Amman was yet another cruel confirmation of how urgently the international community must mobilize for an uncompromising struggle against this evil, which does not stem from any one nationality or religion.

Your Majesty, I express my sincere condolences and support to you, to the relatives and loved ones of those who were killed and those who were injured, and to the amicable people of Jordan.”
