The country's role in international affairs and in European integration has also considerably increased.

We highly appreciate the fact that you are Russia's true friend and the convinced supporter of strengthening the centuries-old ties between our peoples. Today Russian-Spanish cooperation can serve as an example of trust-based, constructive, partner relations.”
