Vladimir Putin held a session of the Council for Implementing Priority National Projects

The session's theme was the transition to concrete steps towards implementing projects in education, health care, housing and agriculture.

The President called on the Government and Presidential Administration to finish creating a system to supervise and monitor the implementation of priority national projects.

First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev also spoke at the session.

After the session Minister of Regional Development Vladimir Yakovlev informed journalists that the Government confirmed that 'Housing', a federal target programme which contains a number of measures for solving the problems associated with obtaining housing, will be implemented within the next few days.

Head of the Presidential Experts` Directorate Arkady Dvorkovich said that the State Council will examine the question of whether the regions are ready to implement national projects on December 29. The following Council Presidium session takes place on December 14.

While talking with journalists Agricultural Minister Aleksey Gordeyev named three priorities within the project to develop agriculture: accelerating the development of livestock breeding, supporting farms, and constructing housing for young people.
