Vladimir Putin held a meeting with Cabinet Members

Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov informed the head of state about the meeting with members of the European Commission that will take place tomorrow in Brussels. Economic Development and Trade Minister German Gref talked about various economic indicators of the country's development. In November inflation was 0,7 percent and over eleven months of 2005 inflation was 10 percent.

According to Health and Social Development Minister Mikhail Zurabov, in the first ten months of 2005 real incomes grew by 9,4 percent and the real growth of pensions was 8,9 percent.

Vice Premier Sergei Ivanov reported on implementing the President's orders with respect to providing servicemen with housing. The project, based on the Government's decision to allocate additional funds to provide certain servicemen with housing in the first half of 2006, will be initiated before the end of 2005.

The President called on Ministries of Defence, Finance and Economic Development and Trade to take action so that in the first half of next year, servicemen's housing certificates will be equivalent to real money.

Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin informed the head of state on the preparation of the budget for 2006 for the fourth reading before the State Duma which will take place on December 7.

Justice Minister Yury Chaika talked about the results of his trip to Strasbourg, during which he consulted with the Justice Department and the European Commission of Human Rights. He also presented to foreign colleagues that are experts on the subject the amendments to the law on public and non-profit organisations.

Vladimir Putin instructed Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Sobyanin to take into account the recommendations made by Russia’s European colleagues, the Russian Public Council and representatives of Russian non-governmental organisations, and to make a summary of them and prepare possible amendments to the draft law within the next five days.
