In his traditional New Year address the President said that 2005 was a positive year in practically all areas and has convincingly proven that we are capable of a great deal.
The head of state pointed out that the country has ambitious and very important plans in the economic and social spheres. Russia's defences will be strengthened and the interests of Russian citizens will be protected in the widest sense of the word.
