Economic Development and Trade Minister German Gref talked about the results of the country's economic growth in 2005.

Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov reported on the results of the visit by a Foreign Ministry delegation to Tehran. The purpose of the visit was discussing the Iranian nuclear problem, including the possibility of enriching uranium for Iran's nuclear power requirements in Russian territory.

Problems connected with spread of avian flu were disscussed on the meeting with Cabinet. Vladimir Putin asked that strict sanitary measures be taken in food markets, transportation and at the borders to prevent avian flu from reaching Russia.
