The law’s provisions clarify the issue of recognising legal entities as being resident in the special economic zone, the application of the special customs regime, taxation regulations and currency control in the special economic zone, and also the specific provisions regarding entry and exit to and from Kaliningrad Region and presence in the region’s territory.
The law’s objective is to promote economic development in Kaliningrad Region.
