The President’s message to Bashkortostan’s residents reads, in particular:

“Your region’s history contains many glorious and heroic pages. The republic’s residents can take deserved pride in the names and deeds of those who share the same native soil and in the traditions of work and culture handed down from one generation to the next. Bashkortostan has always been rich in talent and has produced famous writers, artists and scientists, whose creative legacy has become part of the entire world’s spiritual heritage.

Today, the republic is showing dynamic growth, has great industrial and intellectual potential, and is carrying out important social programmes.

I am sure that through your initiative, energy and sense of purpose, you will continue to produce great achievements that will contribute to the prosperity of Bashkortostan and all of Russia.”
