The Constitutional Court examines a large number of cases regarding infringements in the way laws are applied, President of the Constitutional Court Valery Zorkin said at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.
It is in this area that citizens often encounter infringements of their rights.
Mr Zorkin said this situation is linked to the low level of legal culture in society and lack of access to the sources of law.
Mr Putin said that he would instruct the government to increase public access to official information.
