The business community’s participation in education system reform in Russia was one of the key issues discussed at a meeting between President Vladimir Putin and members of the country’s business community at the Kremlin.

Mr Putin said that the state and the business community should combine their efforts to help develop beginning and mid-level professional and vocational education in the country.

The organisation of an education loans system is an important instrument for making higher education more accessible. The President called on the business community to become directly involved in the project to organise student loans.
