President Vladimir Putin met with the medallists at the IX Winter Paralympics in Turin and congratulated them on their outstanding results.
Russia’s Paralympics team won 13 gold medals in Turin, 13 silver medals and seven bronze medals.
Russia is proud of the achievements of its athletes. The state will continue to support the development of special infrastructure for athletes with disabilities, Mr Putin said.
