The development of Russian-Kazakhstan relations is based on common interests and mutual trust

During talks in the Kremlin the Presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan pointed out that the partnership relations between their countries constitute a strong basis for strengthening cooperation in a very wide range of areas.

Political, economic, cultural and educational contacts are expanding. The level of trade between the two countries has reached ten billion USD.

Cooperation on the international stage, within regional organizations, and in extracting energy resources are all activities that are developing successfully.

During President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev's official visit to Russia a number of documents that settled a range of issues including the use of military ranges and space exploration were signed.
