They discussed a wide range of internal and international political issues linked to preparing the President of Russia's Address to the Federal Assembly and the G8 summit that will take place in St Petersburg.
The President thanked the deputies for their work in implementing the provisions of last year's Address. In this respect, the head of state placed particular emphasis on developing democratic institutions and preparing the legal base for implementing the national projects.
