The President’s message of congratulations reads, in particular:

“Passover symbolises an important milestone in the history of the Jewish people and in the formation of their spiritual values based on the eternal ideals of justice, good and care for one’s fellows.

I am sure that Russia’s Jewish community will continue to make an important contribution to developing inter-faith and inter-ethnic dialogue and building harmony and understanding between peoples. And, of course, the state and society must work together to take consistent and resolute action against anti-Semitism and any manifestations of xenophobia and extremism.”
