Mr Putin congratulated the troupe on the theatre’s fiftieth anniversary and awarded state decorations to the actors.

The actors gave the President a staff-pass to the theatre and a book published to mark the theatre’s anniversary.

After awarding the state decorations, Mr Putin had an informal conversation with the members of the theatre’s troupe.
