The President’s message of greetings reads, in particular:

“Your congress is rightly considered one of the biggest and most representative business gatherings in Russia and an influential forum for interested and all-round discussion of professional issues. Now, as in past years, you are focusing your attention on today’s objectives of developing Russia’s financial and credit system and consolidating its stability.

I am sure that the recommendations that emerge from your constructive and fruitful discussions will help make Russian banks more competitive and raise trustworthiness in the eyes of their customers and of foreign partners.”

Mr Putin wished the congress’ organisers and participants success and all the best. The XV International Banking Congress takes places from June 7–10 in St Petersburg.
